I did not add all the flags that were in the original build script, but this change does make it possible to build the game with CMake and I've not seen any issues running it. The only difference I've seen is that you get some warnings now. I've tested this on Linux. I've not tried Windows.
For some background, CMake is a way to have one file to build for multiple different systems. It allows for much easier porting to other systems. Hope that is something that is wanted.
